Fountain for James V (1538) at Linlithgow Palace

I took my "new" DSLR with me to get in some practice with all the dozens of different settings (along with the manual). From close to 150 photos I took, only two came out well enough that I'd be happy sharing them. This is one.

According to the Historic Scotland website, this fountain was created for King James V in 1538. I'm not sure what all the different pieces of the design are meant to represent (if anything), all I know is that it's rather pretty.
