Bubbly

Up at some unlikely hour on China time, I checked out the fish situation and found no water filtering as the pump wasn’t working, so quickly turned on the bubbler thingy to get some water movement. No idea when that happened obviously but it may have contributed to the sad but not unexpected demise and disappearance of our longest lived tetra and one of our two remaining widows. No problem for the swordtails though as we now have four mature males (too many for a quiet tank life), a few very large and pregnant females and countless young. Still have our six rasboras too which is good. Anyway, I seemed to remember buying a spare impeller for the pump and after much searching actually found the thing, swapped it for the old, damaged one and Hey Presto! tank conditions are back to normal.
Apart from our shopping outing to restock the fridge, that was about the sum of my day. Kept falling asleep in the chair so went to bed.
