On the lathe

A late post for yesterday as i went o an introductory course on wood turning and then had a bowls match away at Chipping Camden in the evening.

My wood turning proved more successful than my bowls turning. My Blip is of the outside of my first bowl. Next lesson will be the create the inside of the bowl.  My extra shows Chrispy at work.

My bowls turning resulted in a six point loss. Going first in a team of four means your own woods are likely to get hit out of the way however well you bowled them. Well thats how I am trying to convince myself.
