Saint Dominic, according to inherited Church tradition, is said, to have received the very first Holy Rosary from Mother Mary, either in a vision or some sources say, while in a coma. The Holy Rosary, called also The Angelic Psalter, is a means of imploring Mother Mary for help and spiritual protection against Satan and evil influences and fears.

Canonised : 1234.

Today we have, here in Rishton, sunshine, windy weather, very loud at times, 22.2c in the living room and odd episodes of spitting, very light rain. In fact, I was watching Paul making his ship, The Victory and then quite suddenly we had to turn our attention to bringing the washing in from the clothes line, when there was a shower.

Today I visited the doctors with a very high BP reading and I am going back there at 2:30pm, to get it checked by the nurse.
