Clearing (diary blip)

There is a plan to make this old part of the church yard into a wildlife area with some mown paths.  Before we get to that, the current jumble of brambles and other growth needs to be cleared so we can see what we are dealing with .... not least some of the tipped over and de-laminating headstones.   Tony and I had some time there this morning cutting back the brambles before the sun and temperature rose. We stopped when all three green bins were full. 

More yet to do - you can probably see some more brambles behind Tony.   Some of the low tree branches might have to go too - too close to eye level as they are now. 

At least the project people can get an idea of the ground layout now.
