Oak Galls...

It's a great year for oak galls/gall wasps. The leaves are full of them. This is 'spangles'  - a type of growth that appears on the underside of oak leaves. It's caused by the common spangle wasp. They look like 'Cheerios.'

In other news, more car searching & after much dithering, I went for a Vauxhall Mokka - almost new. It's a small, big car - hope to still be able to see over walls for wildlife :)
