Wet and windy (Day 3746)

Off to Stromness to look at a shower which wasn't working. The shower valve was built into the wall and needed a new cartridge it. To identify the cartridge it needed, I had to remove the old one which was impossible. What should have been a relatively easy job is going to require the wall being cut open behind the shower, the old valve being removed and a new shower fitted. Then I will need to tile over the hole the old shower has left.
Having spent far too long fiddling around I headed to town to collect bits for another job, then back home.
I took Sigyn for a wet, windy wander at Wasdale, and after lunch accompanied my beautiful wife to the horses. The weather improved a little while we were doing the horse chores and we spent a little while with the boys before heading home.
