Dazzling Dahlia!

The Dahlia is Mexico's national flower. There are 57,000 cultivated forms of this beautiful flower of which this is one. Red and yellow are not colours that I would normally put together but this summer I have seen many different flowers with that colour combination. The natural world has a master painter in control.
