Great Haywood Marina Solace Day 1

The first day of our week on holiday on Solace.  We don't normally take a week in the school holidays but this trip is to be momentous.  For the first time we will have both girls and our granddaughter with us, well for a few days anyway.  However they aren't arriving until tomorrow.

The trip down was uneventful but slow.  We seemed to go from one speed reduction owing to "queues" to another.  The lowest speed limit was 40 mph. Often we couldn't manage 10 mph.

So we had an unusual late afternoon and evening still in the marina.  Finally I remembered to take a blip.  A view you will have seen before if you have read my journal much.  Taken from the well deck (at the pointy end) of Solace looking towards the service berth.
