MORNING DRIVE

I was at Road America this morning for the monthly Morning Drive meeting.....it's a Cars and Caffeine thing.  A group of like-minded motorheads gets together to show their cars, drink some coffee, gnaw on some doughnuts, take a drive around the track and occasionally, listen to a speaker or two.

This morning we heard from a representative of the Ford Motor Company who shared with us a bit about his job and also the track's traffic officer spent some time telling the 100 or so individuals in attendance, both men and women, about his troubles getting many thousands of cars into and out of the track during big events.  It was very informative.  Of course, there was time for Q&A sessions as well.

In addition to a beautiful, brand-new E-Ray Corvette I found this beautiful Morgan.  I know nothing about it...except that it's at least 20 years old because it has Collectors Plates on it and it has a high drool factor.  Had the owner been outside I surely would have traded some syllables with him/her.
