Friday evening demo

Graham and I joined the counter demonstration organised by Refugee Action outside a local hotel that houses asylum seekers today. It was a deeply depressing experience.when we arrived there were 2 protesters and a child outside the hotel but numbers swelled to around 100 Union Jack clad thugs. However, the Refugee Action crowd outnumbered them which was very pleasing. There was a big police presence.
