Water gazing

Had a lovely long walk this morning around Exeter Quay. It was really breezy so perfect weather for stomping around.

I left Ian and Leo watching Smurfs 2 in the cinema so made the most of two hours to myself to wander around.

I stopped half way across one of the bridges to take this picture of me indulging in some water gazing. It is not the prettiest stretch of water - more mud coloured than aqua - but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

I really enjoyed the walk and may well do this route again in the future. It racked up my 10k steps total for the day by 11am which is always a great way to start the day. Much better than spending the evening trying to get the requisite steps in.
