Kingston Lacy (National Trust)

My sister B and her husband R have been staying with us for a couple of days. Today they left for home. I suggested we follow part way and all stop off at a National Trust property.

B is more into houses, we more into gardens and, although we have visited here many times we've never been in the house so we took the opportunity of going around the house together before they left to complete their journey home.

Many of the rooms were very dimly lit to conserve items inside. The dark blinds can be seen in today's Blip.

We hung around in the garden for a while waiting till it was safe to go back home. We had a viewing. They liked our home but don't think it was for them.  Luckily we do not care. Our own searches are coming up short and we are starting to think it would be best to leave it a year or two to allow the housing market to settle.
