Neighbours . . . Barry Crocker

This morning the forester took the truck down to pull out three stumps for the new neighbour at the end.  The four year boy was most impressed with the chain that went around the stump and hooked onto the strop attached to the truck.  He soon learnt how to put the chain around the stump and hook it together.  The neighbour is removing shrubs to increase the size of lawn for his three children.  The big magnolia is staying put.  The forester has also been gardening at our place.  For eight years a big bush has been growing over the path and needing cutting back each year.  We don't like it and so he decided why don't we just pull it out and plant something we do like.  Great to have a pro active gardener.
