Another butterfly

A common ringlet , another North American native. Another new one for me. Fluttered on through barely stopping. 
I discovered my son mowed over my little patch of milkweed, though i am not too distressed as he left two and i have never seen any monarch caterpillars on it in the 5 years it has been there. I am sad that none have chosen to deposit eggs on my butterfly weed as  they have done in the past. No cats on the asparagus either from the swallowtails. Hmmm. No insecticides, has someone been badmouthing my garden????
