Earthquake Proof

This is inside Takina which is next door to our apartment. It is Wellington's conference centre and would be the most Earthquake proof building in town. It's also a great cafe and hosts many great events. Welli has not had a serious earthquake for some time now but if it did Takina would be a great place to be. Our apartment was also not damaged last time either although we were not in Welli at that time.
If you ever visit Wellington visit Takina. It's something very different.
