Sturgeon Moon

The early August full moon is called a Sturgeon moon. I went out to photograph the full moon from my backyard but it was stuck behind a big tree and I didn’t want to stay up any longer for it to rise higher.
So I present to you the rising Sturgeon moon as seen catching my neighbor’s new weathervane in silhouette.
