Sunrise Over Gatwick

Monday morning. Up very early… the house is oddly quiet. Our wily travellers departed from Gatwick just before 6am, bound for Mahon airport in Menorca. It’s only a 2-hour flight, and by lunchtime they were enjoying the sun in their holiday apartment. A long day supervising at work for me, and quite a busy one, then a very quiet evening at home in a strangely empty house.
