Lunch in London
A friend is over from California as her son is performing in Edinburgh next week. So we arranged to meet up with another friend for lunch in the British Library* and almost before we had finished there was a dog on the table!!
We all know each other from RoboCupJunior, so robots has been part of our lives for a long time, but Amy always seems to have the best toys. It probably helps being a professor with a budget for such things. There is a better view of the Aibo in the extras.
We also popped around the Unearthed exhibition, which has some interesting exhibits including one of Gilbert White's log books. I liked the historical composting instructions.
The final extra is from D2, the grandson and his father crawling into the sea in North Wales - just as well I was out and about today or this may have been a blip entitled "Bottoms". Apparently he is turning into a bit of a beach baby.
* The British library is my favourite lunch location in London. Very convenient for Kings X, good food at a reasonable price, lots of space and you can stay for hours without being hassled to move on. Oh and they even allowed a dog on the table this time. :-)
