Circus

The Meadows, Edinburgh 

There were five of us for the festival today, two of whom were under ten so the focus was on them having a good day and that mission was a success!

Just one proper show - Trash Test Dummies. Getting to go into the circus tent added to the excitement and they loved the show. There was enough going on in the streets to keep them entertained the rest of the day - a magician did a card trick for them, there were puppets, magic mirrors were a hit and they had a go at 'cup and ball'. Then there was participation in a street theatre act, helping an acrobat. Popcorn chicken, fish and chips, and ice cream kept them fuelled so that they went home happy.
