Hip, hip, hooray!
It's the Burryman's Day!
Went out on the bus to meet up with Burryman and party - was heading for Scotmid on the Loan at 15:30 but noticed a small expectant crowd at the end of Viewforth Place so jumped off the bus a stop early. And there he was, large as life and twice as prickly. Found Doc amongst the crowd, also Ian and Maxine. Once we got to Scotmid I managed to tempt them away for 20 min for a wee sit down and a pint at....it used to be the Moorings. Then it was the Inchcolm Inn. Ah, now it's Edward's Bar. No matter.
Rejoined the B-man and followed him down to Hawes to greet the Maid of the Forth which was just in from Inchcolm (see extra). Sad to remember that this was where I last saw the late and much missed Old Bat Decided not to stay for the slow progression back up the High St, so scuttled along for a bus back. Terrible traffic queue most of the way in to Edinburgh, but the bus thankfully able to avail itself of a bus lane most of the way. Suppose that was an Oasis queue (they're at Murrayfield, allegedly).
