Hanging on by a thread

Checking out our cucumber crop this morning I noticed this one had manages to grab hold of the sting quite high above it.  How it reached I don’t know, but silly as it is it just had to be my Saturday blip.
 
We’ve had quite a few cumbers so far, so we are calling the mini  crop a success.  Same again next year – perhaps.  The tomatoes that I featured on Thursday are also coming on well, but they are still all green.
 
Not enough veg to be self sufficient (by a long chalk), but it’s great to have a little home-grown stuff.  The cucumbers so far have been excellent.
