Mackerel Sky

Lots of lovely altocumulus clouds to enjoy first thing this  morning and the blue sky has continued during the day!  No rain in the forecast either so back to watering duties!

And have been a busy bee in the garden this  morning clearing up the 'crappy pots' that were sat around doing nothing, full of old dirt, snails, spiders and old labels! They are now all organised and many thrown out!  And even found time to bake some apple scones which we'll be enjoying very soon, as the apple tree is still full of apples, and I even shared a big bag with a friend yesterday!

now to sit in the shade and spend the afternoon reading some non fiction!  It's been my plan this Summer to read more non fiction and it's going well so far! Makes a nice change from my normal fiction intake!
