Gypsy Princess on the Forth Clyde canal

OK I've taken a little artistic licence here, so look away if you can't handle the colour scheme!

After cycling through Kirkintilloch yesterday, I found out that it was the Kirkintilloch Canal Festival this week, so Mrs B and I drove along for a look today.

There were lots of the usual fair events going on; stalls, fun fair rides, face painting (I resisted this one) and open air cafes. Along with three barges which were plying up and down the canal taking eager customers.

The festival is on until tomorrow and is worth a wander around if you've nothing better to do!
