Guess where I've been today?
Correct!
I took the train to Derby to see this at the Museum of Making.
It was fabulous!
I have added an extra of one of the cyanotypes, which were very special, such a skill to print so many subtle tones using this technique. You'll have to read the description as they have something unique in their development process. I haven't developed the extra using my usual go to digital film render (which is AGFA Vista 200 in case you were wondering), so hopefully you can get some impression of the beautiful tones.
The other extra is in the foyer of the museum, I think it's a Toyota Yaris.
The museum celebrates everything Derbyshire made, from a suspended Rolls Royce turbofan engine on floor one to Denby pottery to lots of railway stuff; speaking of which The Greatest Gathering was at Alstom Derby last weekend, couldn't get tickets, was gutted!
