Wonky

Has anyone ever seen such a wonky path?

As I came out of the swimming pool at lunchtime I decided to go via the step-free access at the side of the car park as I was curious to see where the path led to round the side of the building (like every good blipper does who needs something to take a photograph of).

Nothing interesting round the side, so it was back to the car park. I actually walked back up the ‘ramp’ because I couldn’t believe how wonky it was and although I took a picture from the bottom, I thought this angle would be better.

I don’t know if you can tell from the slabs, but they’ve gone down a few degrees, levelled off for a couple and repeated. You can certainly see from the shadow of the handrail.

Surely there must have been a neater solution than this?

Anyway, that’s pretty much been the most interesting part of my day. Several loads of washing as it’s been warm and windy again, so bedding, towels, bath mats all done and out on the line. Now I’ve just got to go and get it all back in :-(
