Bushcraft

This morning O, I and myself went to a Bushcraft event for children organised by the Wildlife Trust.

They were given a tarpaulin and string then found sticks etc. to make a shelter.  Theorganiser then oured water over it to see if it was waterproof - they all were.

Afterwards they learnd how to make a fire without matches then gathered sticks and made a fire each  in a fire bowl.  They then toasted marshmallows and made smores (marshmallows, biscuits and chocolate).  Before clearing everything away.

A great morning was had by all!
