Strawberry Sandwich

To coincide with Wimbledon (I think), M&S brought out a Strawberry & Creme sandwich.  I bought my sister one a few weeks ago and she said it was 'Bloody Lovely.'  She has since bought herself more.  Last weekend I bought myself one and shared it with Mr YB.  It was okay but I wasn't blown away by it.

It is made with Red Diamond strawberries, whipped cream cheese and a sweetened brioche style bread.  Apparently, it is inspired by a Japanese fruit sandwich.

Although I did not buy another strawberry sandwich when I was at M&S this time, I decided to take a photo of them because I think they are going to stop selling them in the next few days.  Maybe they will be back again next year.
