Sunflowers

My energy returned today and although I was too slow off the mark to get to the ParkRun. I did manage a slow, nonstop, 5k around the park just as the park runners were exiting. I’m always curious to see the impact of long distance walking on running and this time time it was positive.

Later I drove across to Doune to catch up with son number 1 and family, and give my belated birthday wishes to Leo. I got the usual ecstatic welcome from Islay Dog, despite not having any sausages today.

Liv’s sunflowers, I assumed had been pre-drawn. They hadn’t, it was all her own work. The attention to detail and perspective I thought was pretty impressive.
