The Sun Shone On Scotney Castle

I must take a moment to praise Mr K. 

At the beginning of September, I am going to Scotney, with my sister, for a painting day with other like-minded artists. Unlike my sister, I do not paint landscapes and especially not buildings. Yes, I could stay in my comfort zone and paint flowers,  but I do like a challenge.

Mr K insisted that we went and that I had a practice run to see how I got on. Not only that but he stayed with me and encouraged me all the way.

And I loved it! I chatted to passers by, received some welcome praise and, all in all, my confidence was well and truly boosted. I learnt a lot about what I could do and what I should do. I didn't finish my picture, but I may share it another day.

The lively Jak was a little angel and was also rewarded with lots of cuddles and attention. Mr K even arranged for perfect weather. So, thank you, Mr K.
