Sturgeon Moon

Apparently the Sturgeon Moon was given its name by Native Americans because sturgeon could be found aplenty at this time.  It may also be called the grain moon or green corn moon according to the Greenwich Royal Observatory which has an excellent app dedicated to full moons with much interesting information.

It was Parkrun Day and I was Run Director.  We had 120 happy participants on a warm, sunny morning, what could be better?
