Although the wind was very strong we managed to find a sheltered seat for our picnic in Melrose.  On our way we passed this very colourful motorhome which was built by GMC sometime between 1973 and 1978 so is about 50 years old.  It reminded me of the time of the Flower People or Hippies from the late 60s and the couple looked very distinctive like elderly hippies. The vehicle was parked right in front of the formal Abbey  Gardens where the flowers were very similar colours to those on the motorhome.
