Top of Our Street

Our street here is in two parts: the lower part is all residential except for a newspaper stand at both ends and the top part is the stretch that leads onto the Wednesday food market square. Also, on the top stretch is a little community of shops, cafes and restaurants that cater for all tastes and budgets. Here’s a very local one. The one we probably sit at most is Tipicamente, the other side of the street from this one, and that’s where we play Yahtzee.

Nice weather. We walked along the front, checked out a possible purchase in Tok Stok and ordered a pair of sandals for me - almost identical to the ones I have now. Dinner was in the Portuguese restaurant at the top of our street, just above this place on my blip.

Things are moving in the right direction with family matters in Scotland.
