Corfe Castle railway station

This morning Peter dropped Linda, Martin and me on the B-road out of Swanage near Knighton where we walked the two miles into Corfe village, with its famous ruined castle.
We stopped for coffee there,  before climbing out of the village and on to Rollington Hill and Nine Barrow Down for a wonderful walk back towards Swanage.  The blip was taken  looking back at Corfe Castle village where a steam train can be seen leaving the station on the Swanage railway.  The extra, taken at the same spot, shows the castle just to the right of the village and station.
.
We saw a few  Wheatears on our walk, but more worrying,  smoke from a large heathland fire further inland.
Peter picked us up at Ulwell after our 6 mile walk and took us back to the flat for lunch.
Later, we walked over the fields and down to the Swanage lifeboat station ( about a mile)  and then through the town to the beach. By now some of the day visitors were departing and Martin and I enjoyed a swim in the sea.
