Llanthony Show

Today was the Llanthony Show, held in a field a few hundred metres up the road from my holiday base.
Since the road in was 5 miles of mostly single track road (from the south, futher and hillier from the north) I took the "pragmatic solution" of going to the show.
It was a great show, the crowd well in excess of a thousand people, I had 2 firsts - goat curry and sheep's ice cream. Included were the usual competitions for produce, livestock, dogs, show jumping etc.
A "wild west" themed exhibition by some horsemen and horsewomen proved a great attraction.
The dominant accent was English Public School, which probably reflects who owns the farms nowadays, often to minimise tax, no doubt.
Late posting due to being on a Digital Detox for a week.
