Chicory

I had fully intended to visit the Eglwysbach show today - the biggest and best of the local agricultural shows - but after yesterday’s mammoth photography session at the National Eisteddfod I have to accept my limits! I’m completely wiped out - and spend the morning editing and researching as I was just too tired to do anything when we got back last night. I suspect it may be irritating to have so much information included  in a blip, as well as so many extras - but I don’t expect I’ll change the habits of a lifetime, and thank you for the many lovely comments.

So instead of agricultural blips, today there is a chicory study. I’m not aware of ever seeing this rather lovely flower before but I’m enchanted by the miniature detail of its delicate blue stamens as well as its gorgeous colour.
