Progress

Almost 2 weeks ago I posted a photo of this house opposite my home and it's peeling paint had been scraped off at the front.  Today the preparation work continued. This man, accompanied by two other men in painter's workwear, had been there already at 10 o'clock in the morning, but nothing much happened until around five in the afternoon. 

I've had a quiet Saturday, home alone most of the day since my husband is working this weekend. Went shopping, and then cooked my favourite soup and baked focaccia for dinner.
