Warning!
I couldn't decide whether to go for a wander or a mooch so I settled for being a flaneur in Tenterden. Come with me while I show you some of the sights, images in the Extras bucket.
Huntley's of Tenterden is a butcher's shop and is across the road from TW Fuggle & Son; Fuggle is an old Kent name and is also a hop variety. The distance stone is on the main street (Ashford Road) and is a little confusing; Romney and Rye are in the opposite direction to Ashford, but all are shown on the same face, Cranbrook and Rolvenden are on the other side. Saint Mildred sits slightly off Ashford Road, behind the shops and a couple of pubs. Finally, not a great shot because of the reflection, a smashing pair of fashionable boots - I sent this image to my family and they said that I wasn't allowed to buy them.
