Across the water

After walking my four legged friend this morning I had another fiddle with my main desktop computer after yesterday's upgrade. I found that a bug was reported last November (which may have been fixed by now) and that there is a temporary workaround to set a parameter. The worst impacted app turns out to be the humble patience card game, but other programs can be impacted to. Setting the parameter removes 95% of the visual glitches which is good enough. It's not obvious if you don't have scaled output but without scaled output on a large monitor things can be a little too small to read - so I have some scaling on my main screen.

I had another idea to try but I've not bothered with that and I'll see how things behave for a few days before taking more drastic actions.

In the afternoon we took the dog to the park for his walk around the park and today's blip is a view across the river to the tower at Solidor. He had a good walk and when we got back we had home-made ice-cream.
