Fringe by the Tree

I thought the knitted face was just a bit of whimsy,  but as a passing mum said to her child, “look, darling - it’s The Green Man”. 

It was a nicely odd touch for today’s Fringe by the Sea show: Jim Moir (Vic Reeves as was) in conversation with Hugo Rifkind, mostly about his paintings. 

I think the best line was Hugo’s, as he showed a painting of some kind of bizarre moose fight. “I mean, Jim - what the fuck?”
