Sunlight on Sharpie

You can't really see it in this shot, but Sharpie's feathers look a bit worse for wear. It's a long season of seemingly jet propelled flights with wear and tear on his emerald green feathers, but his gorget is still brilliant. I will miss him so much when he leaves us for warmer climes. 

For the Record,
This day came in HOT and sunny. It's another week of the heat that folks suffered with all July while we were on the cooler Maine Coast. 

All hands tired from working outside in the heat.
