Derelict Sunday!

This is a tomato from my neighbor’s deck garden that someone, probably a squirrel, left on the barrier between our yards. 

I took today off too. I exercised. I vacuumed. I found someone to help me pack up my pictures on Wednesday. I’m moving them from the synagogue to the next church. 

Hopefully I’ll be all set to work tomorrow.

The Ukrainian Air Force destroyed a Russian battalion command post in Kherson. 

Ukraine targeted an oil refinery 2000 km from the border. It supplies fuel and lubricants to Russian forces. At least one tanker was breached. There were power outages and the loss of mobile internet in the city. 

Ukraine liberated the village of Bezsalivka in Sumy Oblast. According to British intelligence, Russian troops have not achieved any noticeable successes in the Sumy region despite their desire to create a buffer zone there. 

Russia has damaged its relationships, including with Armenia and Azerbaijan. The president of Azerbaijan has just said they may consider lifting their arms embargo on Ukraine if Russia doesn’t stop hurting Azerbaijan’s interests in Ukraine, which includes not just Azerbaijani energy facilities in Ukraine but also Ukrainian gas infrastructure.
