Waiting for John

I didn't get a good night's sleep as I had a lot of pain from a fall I had yesterday. I managed to trip over the bottom of the duvet. John made the bed and he left a lot of duvet on the corner of bed on the floor. I hadn't noticed it when I turned around after combining my hair. I fall backwards and hit my head on the oil heater. I must have landed on my right hand and arm... luckily I left handed....l managed to get up okay. By the end of the evening my right hand was very stiff and sore.

My GP couldn't see me so I went to the 24 hour clinic. After telling them what happened they told me I had to go to the public hospital. It is because I am on blood thinners and having the bang on the head. Which wasn't a bad one. I would need a CT scan. 

The hospital was so busy they didn't have enough seats. People were told to wait in another area if they were not a patient. Never seen it so busy. 

The X-ray showed no breaks in my hand or arm. And the CT of my head showed nothing either. After eight hours I was home again. 

John said it had been a very cold day. Mickey was pleased to see me home again.
