Final Folklore
Our last day in the UK and Asha needed one last time at Folklore cafe with Betty the cat. I have thoroughly loved getting to know Alex and Jude a little bit. It's been a lovely extra element to these past 3 weeks.
Packing and a last lunch with mom and dad before getting to the airport. Not surprisingly our bags were overweight (asha's brought 20 books back!!!), so some reshuffling of things between backpacks and suitcases & we avoided extra charges, phew!
A smooth flight with very little crazy behaviour - surprising for an August weekend ibiza flight! Brian was there to bring us home in the 24-7 van but we'd forgotten that today is a huge fiesta day in Ibiza Town - Sant Ciriac, celebrating when the Catalán arrived in 1235. So all roads in the Port were closed off. There were fireworks at midnight which Nate felt were a welcome home, ha!! Brian dropped us at the end of the Port and we walked the rest of the way back.
Poor Tux was terrified when we got in and has remained hidden under a bed.
After winding down I think we were in bed about 3, uuufffff.
