The High Road

Up bright and early today for a hike up Ben Lomond with my wee sis.

And 974 metres later we were two happy bunnies sitting on the top of a mountain that on a good day we could see from our bedroom window on the south side of Glasgow.

It was somewhat cloudy up there when we reached the summit, but a recharge with some ginger tea and we were ready for the descent.

But the cool, cool beer in the Rowardennan Hotel at the bottom was even more welcome.
