Paraty, Sunday, Arrival

Here we are in Paraty, on Sunday, a day earlier than expected! We were settling in for the night in Rio on Saturday night when I checked my emails and found an email from the accommodation here in Paraty asking what time we’d be arriving the next morning. Oops!  We checked the booking and sure enough, they were right. We had to go to the bus station, a 40 min taxi ride away, and change our bus tickets to Sunday. Luckily, no problem.

See the extra for a few journey shots - high aircon on the bus, glad of my sweatshirt and hood! A pleasant journey though and surprisingly I slept a little. I don’t usually sleep on buses, planes etc.

Lovely to be back again, same little pousada as last visit, Marais Paraty, and same room as last time on request. Creatures of habit, we had lunch in the same place as our last lunch on our last visit too - Chafariz. Delicious fish moqueca.

Hoping to relax for a few days here - good news from Scotland continues.
