Why?

After another super busy work day, and having felt pretty fatigued recently, I was pleasantly surprised to find I had enough energy in the evening to go for a quick walk at the Cairn.  I stopped off at Pall Meadow first, and availed myself of some of the free fruit there - a couple of plums from a small but very loaded tree, and a handful of perfectly ripe blackberries.  Just to keep me going until I got home for the dinner that Tim was cooking me ;)

I walked along the Tarka Trail from there (past the dead deer, which one of the other Cairn volunteers had mentioned was there, and which is now smelling rather... fragrant), and into the Cairn from the entrance further along.  Sad to see that the leaflet holder a couple of our party installed on our last session has been emptied and smashed.  The other two at the other entrance were empty too, but at least still intact.  It's really sad to keep seeing these acts of vandalism, and makes me wonder whether someone's got it in for us as a group, or if it's just an angry person (or persons) hitting out at the world.
