Walk the line.

It's the "Festival of Politics" this weekend. Images of lardy politicians juggling flaming batons and others struggling to escape straight jackets (hmmm, there's an idea...) may spring to mind. But no. It's decidedly more "politics"than "festival".

However, opne small part if it is an exhibition of photos of Islay (http://www.islayinfo.com/) which is where I was born. The photos were taken by three photographers :
- George Islay MacNeill Robertson (related? I don't know), AKA Baron Robertson of Port Ellen who was also born on the island. He was, among other things, UK Defence Secretary and Secretary General of NATO so "big in politics".
- Michael William Russell, AKA "Mike". He was born in Kent and is Islay's representative in the Scottish Parliament and also Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning so is fairly big in politics.
- Mark Unsworth has no pseudonym I know of. He is the only professional photographer operating on Islay. I wouldn't be so rude as to enquire of his political leanings. Here is a picture of him from Michael Russell's Blipfoto: http://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3398604

There were only 24 photos in the exhibition and some of them were nice.

Today's photo reminds me of a song. Can you guess... oh, so I did...
