Rosewall Hill
Today our weather app lied again. Our weather app said the sun was going to shine and it's been a bit dull and overcast. In fact Ann was working today and at about 1pm it looked like it was going to absolutely chuck it down with rain, so everyone piled into the club and ordered toasties. Now as you all know; Ann is the 'toastie queen' of St Ives, (but she only has a very small area to work in and the grill will only cook a max of three toasties at a time) so for the one & a half hours before she came home she was mega, mega busy. It was like the whole world had decided that it was going to rain so they might as well eat toasties. Lol!!!
It actually didn't rain (well it did a little bit) so this afternoon I went up Rosewall Hill for my walk. We haven't been there for a while and there's various lengths of walks we can do. We only did the half hour walk today because Ann was tired. ….......And also, it was still hot and I get very sleepy when it's hot. …...........And also, I'd had a lovely walk along the beach and around town this morning and found a manky old ball. …..........And also the last couple of days, I've only gone into the field when Ann's come home from work because it's been so hot that she was worried that I might burn my paws on the pavements.
I'm snoozing on the sun terrace now and Ann has just chucked the manky old ball (that I found this morning), into my 'manky old balls' box. …........BUT................ she's taken out two of my nicest tennis balls................... What's all that about then?.........................
Mmmmm.................... apparently she's going to give them to a colleague to give to her cats??!! Do cats play with balls??!! It would appear that they do!!! I don't really care. I've still got 22 balls in my manky old balls box. Yay!
PS - once I went over this stile I was supposed to be kept on my lead because there was a sign saying that ponies were grazing and dogs had to be kept under control. We didn't see one single pony, so Ann said I could stay off my lead until we did. I stayed off my lead for the whole walk because the ponies were obviously elsewhere.
