Small Things

We were sitting outside with a coffee this morning and remarked how peaceful it was. Some building work started across the road and my next door neighbour was chopping up firewood with his chainsaw, then a second chainsaw started up. All of a sudden a head with a hard hat appeared in my view. It was up a cherry tree a couple of doors down with a chainsaw. 


The top of this young cherry tree has grown up over the last few years and waves around in the centre of our view over the river. It's one of those things that your eye ignores but sticks out like a sore thumb in a photo. It's so nice that it's gone!
